This Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our mobile application ("App") and related services.
By downloading, accessing, or using RideSync, you expressly consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and storage of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Platform. This Policy complies with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("SPDI Rules").
We collect strictly necessary information to facilitate ride aggregation services, ensure safety, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not directly store your credit card or banking passwords. All financial information is processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. However, strictly for the purpose of the SPDI Rules, any password you create for your RideSync account is treated as SPDI and is stored using industry-standard encryption (hashing).

We engage third-party vendors for map services (e.g., Google Maps), cloud hosting (e.g., AWS/Azure), and SMS delivery. These parties are contractually bound to confidentiality and may not use your data for independent purposes.

1.1. Location Data (Background & Foreground): To participate in the ONDC network as a Driver, we collect your precise Geolocation Data (Latitude and Longitude). This data is collected:

2.3. Safety and Fraud Prevention: We use your data to monitor for unsafe driving patterns, duplicate accounts, or fraudulent payment activity. We may use your location history to resolve disputes regarding ride routes or fares.
3.1. Sharing with ONDC Network Participants: As a participant in the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), we are required to share specific data with other authorized entities to fulfill your service requests:

Upon deletion, we will remove your profile from the live database. However, archived transaction logs may be retained securely for audit purposes.

RideSync (Tensor Corp LLP) acts as a technology intermediary between the Driver and the Rider. This policy outlines the rules regarding cancellations and refunds for rides booked through the ONDC network.

By registering as a Driver on the RideSync platform, you (the "Driver") hereby declare and agree to the following:
1.1. Valid Documents: I confirm that I hold a valid commercial Driving License, Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance Policy, and Fitness Certificate. I agree to upload updated copies of these documents to the RideSync app whenever they are renewed.
1.2. Ownership: I declare that I am either the owner of the vehicle or have explicit written permission from the owner to operate it as a commercial taxi/auto on the ONDC network.
2.1. No Refusals: I agree not to refuse a ride request based on the destination, payment mode (Cash/UPI), or the rider's background, once I have accepted the booking on the app.
2.2. Safety Protocols: I adhere to all safety guidelines issued by the local transport authority, including wearing a seatbelt/helmet, not using a mobile phone while driving (except for navigation), and ensuring the vehicle is clean and sanitized.
3.1. Commission/Fees: I understand that Tensor Corp LLP may charge a "Platform Fee" or "Subscription Fee" for connecting me with riders. I agree to pay this fee on time to avoid account suspension.
3.2. Direct Settlement: I acknowledge that for cash trips, I collect the fare directly from the rider. For digital payments, the settlement will be made to my linked bank account as per the ONDC settlement cycle (T+1 or T+2 days).
4.1. Liability: I agree to indemnify and hold Tensor Corp LLP harmless from any legal claims, accidents, or damages arising out of my driving or conduct. I understand that RideSync is only an aggregator app and is not responsible for my actions on the road.
